10 Days of Prayer 2017

The Holy Spirit has wrought revival, conversions, renewed passion for evangelism, and healed relationships. Truly, prayer is the birthplace of revival! We believe your life and the lives of those you pray for will be changed as you join fellow church members in praying for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, whom the Father has promised to give to those who ask Him.

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire,
and it shall be done for you.” John 15:7

“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace
to help in time of need.” Heb. 4:16

“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them,
and you will have them.” Mark 11:24

“Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” Ps. 50:15

“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask,
it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” Matt. 18:19

“And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Matt. 21:22

“And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:13, 14

“And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name.
Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:23, 24

“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask,
we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.” 1 John 5:14, 15

PRAY FOR A LIFE OF PRAYER AND ACTION. “We must live a twofold life—a life of thought and action, of silent prayer and earnest work…. God requires us to be living epistles, known and read of all men. The soul that turns to God for its strength, its support, its power, by daily, earnest prayer, will have noble aspirations, clear perceptions of truth and duty, lofty purposes of action, and a continual hungering and thirsting after righteousness.” God’s Amazing Grace, p. 317

Day 1 /Feb 23rd
Host: Ferrer Residence
Leader: Bro. August Ferrer

PRAY FOR A CHURCH OF COMPASSION. “If the members of the churches would but put to work the powers of mind that they have, in well-directed efforts, in well-matured plans, they might do a hundredfold more for Christ than they are now doing. If they went forth with earnest prayer, with meekness and lowliness of heart, seeking personally to impart to others the knowledge of salvation, the message might reach the inhabitants of the earth.” The Review and Herald/April 11, 1893

Day 2/Feb 24th
Host: FFSDANJ Church
Leader: Bro. Joey Marquez

PRAY FOR TENDERNESS, LOVE AND COMPASSION. “How little do we enter into sympathy with Christ on that which should be the strongest bond of union between us and Him—compassion for depraved, guilty, suffering souls, dead in trespasses and sins! The inhumanity of man toward man is our greatest sin. Many think that they are representing the justice of God while they wholly fail of representing His tenderness and His great love.” The Ministry of Healing, p.163

Day 3/Feb 25th
Host: FFSDANJ Church
Leader: Sis. Margie Magbanua

PRAY TO WIN SOULS. “Begin to pray for souls; come near to Christ, close to His bleeding side. Let a meek and quiet spirit adorn your lives, and let your earnest, broken, humble petitions ascend to Him for wisdom that you may have success in saving not only your own soul, but the souls of others.” Testimonies for the Church, Vol I, 513.

Day 4/Feb. 26th
Host: Howe Residence
Leader: Sis. Neomi Howe

PRAY FOR THE DISTRESSED, DISHEARTENED, AND DISHEARTENED. “There are many from whom hope has departed. Bring back the sunshine to them. Many have lost their courage. Speak to them words of cheer. Pray for them. There are those who need the bread of life.” Prophets and Kings, 719. “There are those all around you who have woes, who need words of sympathy, love, and tenderness, and our humble, pitying prayers.” Testimonies for the Church, 3:530

Day 5/Feb 27th
Host: Roque Residence
Leader: Bro. Ryan Roque

PRAY FOR PEOPLE WITHOUT FOOD. “When we pray, “Give us this day our daily bread,” we ask for others as well as ourselves. And we acknowledge that what God gives us is not for ourselves alone. God gives to us in trust, that we may feed the hungry.” Thoughts from the Mount of Blessings, pg. 111,112

Day 6/March 1st
Host: Perez Residence
Leader: Sis. Nenita Perez

PRAY FOR THE SICK. ” Some are sick, and hope has departed. Bring back the sunlight to them. There are souls who have lost their courage; speak to them, pray for them. There are those who need the bread of life. Read to them from the Word of God. There is a soul sickness no balm can reach, no medicine heal. Pray for these, and bring them to Jesus Christ. And in all your work Christ will be present to make impressions upon human hearts.” Welfare Ministry, pg. 71

Day 7/March 2nd
Host: Quiba Residence
Leader: Sis. Ellen Quiba

PRAY FOR OUR YOUTH AND CHILDREN. “Let those older in experience watch over the younger ones; and when…tempted, take them aside, and pray with them and for them.” Messages to Young People, pg.18 “We should pray to God much more than we do. There is great strength and blessing in praying together in our families, with and for our children.” Child Guidance, pg. 525.

Day 8/March 3rd
Host: Mess Residence
Leader: Bro. Mark Mess

PRAY FOR YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS. “In private prayer all have the privilege of praying as long as they desire and of being as explicit as they please. They can pray for all their relatives and friends.” Testimonies for the Church, 2:578

Day 9/March 4th
Host: FFSDANJ Church
Leader: Sis. Aurelle Mirasol

PRAY TO BE BLESSED SO THAT YOU CAN BLESS OTHERS. “Our prayers are not to be a selfish asking, merely for our own benefit. We are to ask that we may give. Our mission to the world is not to serve or please ourselves; we are to glorify God by co-operating with Him to save sinners. We are to ask blessings from God that we may communicate to others. The capacity for receiving is preserved only by imparting. We cannot continue to receive heavenly treasure without communicating to those around us.” Christ Object Lessons, pg. 142, 143

Day 10/March 4th
Host: FFSDANJ Church
Leader: Pastor Emmanuel Jardiniano
